Color Theory

Trilogy of which studies the theory of color. Cool and warm tones interact with one another on the canvas allowing the viewers eyes to feel engaged in all three pieces. A continuum theme of eyes representing the past, present and future coincided with the representation of butterflies and their purposeful meaning of change, hope, and life. The pressure to escape everyday norms and push outside the boundaries of speaking your truth. The need to travel and learn from your surroundings in addition to seeking new routes in life to better oneself is all very present in these paintings.
